This band played a mix of bluegrass, country, rock and original music. They performed at the Fairbanks Folk Fest, Anderson Bluegrass Festival; Talkeetna Bluegrass Festival and many other venues in Interior Alaska.

- Dimming of the Day
- Composed by Richard Thompson, Mel first heard this song in the movie "Devine Secret of the YaYa Sisterhood," as performed by Linda and Richard Thomas. The song has been recorded and performed by many artists. This song always got a good reaction when The Scouts played it. This version was recorded live at Ivory Jack's in Fairbanks.
- Pipeline
Composed by Bob Spickard and Brian Carman, the most famous version of this classic surf tune was recorded by The Ventures. We always got looks of surprise when we played this song live, probably because of it being played on acoustic instruments. This recording was made at Mel's Modern-Music Studios.
- Jesus Is Just All Right
- Composed by Arthur Reynolds. this song was recorded by The Byrds, and later was a big hit for The Doobie Brothers. We loved playing this song. This recording was also made at Modern-Music Studios.
- Hey Good Lookin'
Written by Hank Williams, it was a major hit record for him. This song is always a crowd pleaser. This version was recorded live at Ivory Jack's.
- When Lovers Start Loving
This is a great tune that Fred Weiss wrote. He also does a great job singing it. We had a lot of fun recording this song, and we always had a good response when we played it live.
